Financial Data Disclosure

How financial information is used in the ENPIS mobile app and PIS web portal.

Last updated: September 25, 2026

Enumerator bank information

Enumerator registration and profile features may collect bank name, bank code, account number, and verified account name. This information is used to verify payment details and administer authorised stipend or field-work payments. It is not used for advertising or consumer profiling.

Bank verification

ENPIS uses Monnify to retrieve supported bank names and verify that an account number matches an account name. The bank code and account number are sent to the verification service for this purpose. A successful verification does not transfer money or grant ENPIS access to the account balance or transaction history.

Property payments

The PIS web portal may show property charges, arrears, payment status, references, and payment history. If a user starts a payment, the portal may direct payment details to an approved payment processor. The processor's terms and privacy notice govern the payment interface it operates.

What ENPIS does not offer

  • No lending, credit, payday loan, investment, cryptocurrency, or insurance product.
  • No access to a user's bank balance or unrelated banking history.
  • No sale of bank information and no use of bank information for advertising.
  • No collection of a payment-card PIN by the ENPIS mobile app.

Retention and access

Financial records may be retained for payment administration, reconciliation, audit, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Access is intended for authorised personnel with an operational need. Requests to correct bank information can be made through the enumerator profile or support channel, subject to verification.
